Funny how the Romans seem to lose the battles but win the war over and over again. After a series of defeats we finally drove the enemy to unconditional surrender. Taking the toe and heel is gonna be fun and then Carthage

Funny how the Romans seem to lose the battles but win the war over and over again. After a series of defeats we finally drove the enemy to unconditional surrender. Good example of Pyrrhic Victories. Their army was mostly light infantry, so even if my morale usually broke first, I killed more of them in every battle because I had heavy infantry. For comparison, here are the total casualties of the war: Rome - 19,608 Apulia - 30,589 Not sure if I want to take on Carthage this soon. Might go grab some land from Greece/Balkans first.
