I am currently reading Dune, and its a pretty great book. If you haven't already, read Joe Haldeman's The Forever War sometime, really liked it. ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Forever_War )

I know basically all the posts here were from 2 months ago, but I thought I'd chime in. Currently reading Kazuo Ishiguro's The Buried Giant, which is a book about an older couple travelling through fantasy dark ages Britain to meet their son, and which has the tone and feel of the first book of The Lord of the Rings (as in between the start and the Council of Elrond). Also reading Gore Vidal's Creation, which is historical fiction about the late 6th/early 5th century BCE. Both are a lot of fun, although admittedly over winter break I've been watching movies and playing video games a lot more than reading.

- " Liber Chaotica: Complete" ( www.goodreads.com/book/show/584247.Liber_Chaotica_Complete ) - Anatoli Gordijenko's " Kuoleman Divisioona" ( Rus. Gibel Divizii), It is a partly novelized account of politruk Nikolai I. Klimov, who was stuck with the 18th Infantry Division inside the Lemetti 'motti' during the Winter War.
